Graphic Novels are REAL BOOKS TOO!

Graphic novels are becoming popular for all ages – unfortunately, they aren’t taken as seriously as other novels. A common misconception is that graphic novels are not “real” books because they mostly contain illustrations, but that is far from the truth.

Graphic novels are a different means of storytelling that bring you a reading experience like no other. The illustrations in a graphic novel are tools authors use to help convey the story they are telling, and sometimes it is a more poignant method to bring all different types of readers together.

Stop the stigma and check out our Graphic Novel section at the library!
