Kindles
Kindles are available for check out to Oceanside patrons. There are four (4) types of Kindles available: Kindle Fire Adult, Kindle Paperwhite Adult, Kindle Fire YA, and Kindle Fire Kids’ Edition. All Kindles come fully loaded with a selection of over 100 eBooks and/or audiobooks for adults, teens, or children.
Kindles may be checked out by an Oceanside Library patron who is 18+ years of age and possesses a valid Oceanside Library card in good standing. Kindles circulate for 28 days (with no renewal) and are loaned on a first-come, first-served basis (no holds). All borrowers must sign a loan agreement prior to checking out a Kindle.
Kindle Fire Adult devices come with eBooks & audiobooks, and also have access to all YA eBooks & audiobooks. Audiobooks are not compatible with Kindle Paperwhite. YA Titles do not come with Kindle Paperwhite.
