It’s finally here. The time we all have been waiting for. Summer. It’s the end of cold weather and the beginning of warm days. It’s the end of dark afternoons and the beginning of sunlit evenings. It may be the end of school and the beginning of vacation. And for many it may be the end of planning projects and the beginning of getting started on them.
So get out in the garden and plant some flowers or vegetables. Paint the deck or clean out the shed. Have a backyard BBQ or play some fun lawn games. Sit by the fire pit or go for a walk.
And don’t forget it’s the end of making a booklist and time to catch up on your reading. So stop by the library and pick up your favorite book. Take it to the beach, sit on your deck, pull a chair up to the firepit or just get cozy on your couch. Then join our Adult Summer Reading Club and report your book to be entered in our raffles for some great prizes.
