Following recommendations by the Nassau Library System, the Library will be closed indefinitely. We will continue to monitor the situation with NLS, the Nassau County Board of Health, and other officials.
Here are some things you should know: We are unaware of any staff member or patron who has tested positive. We are closing as a precaution. While we are closed, we will have the building professionally cleaned and sanitized. Our book drop will be locked until further notice. We are waiving fines during this period of time. You can access eBooks, audiobooks, magazines and a large number of resources through our website. We will be using this time to highlight for you various resources we have that you can access at home.
