Hoopla Digital is a library service where Oceanside Library resident cardholders (over 18 years of age) can borrow then stream or download audiobooks, movies, TV shows, music, eBooks, comics and graphic novels.

How Do I Sign Up? Well, it's as easy as 1-2-3!
1. Download the Hoopla Digital app in your app store or go to hoopladigital.com.
2. Set up a new account by entering your email address and creating a password.
3. Enter Oceanside Library when prompted and sign in with your 14-digit Oceanside Library card barcode. **Please note that Hoopla Digital is currently available for Oceanside Library cardholders over 18 years of age.** If you do not have an Oceanside Library card or do not know your barcode number, please click here to get a temporary digital card.

What Can I Borrow?
Borrow free digital movies, music, eBooks, audiobooks and more with no late fees! New titles are added weekly.

Are There Borrowing Limits?
You can borrow up a total of 10 individual titles a month. Please note: Once your 10 title threshold is met, you will have to wait for the first day of the following month to check out additional titles. Returning a title early does not allow for additional titles to be downloaded per month. The number of titles you have left to borrow is displayed on the "My Hoopla" homepage.

And How Long Can I Borrow Items For?
Audiobooks/eBooks/Comics/Graphic Novels check out for 21 days
Movies/TV Shows check out for 3 days (Please Note that TV shows are borrowed 1 episode at a time)
Music Albums check out for 7 days

What Else Do I Need To Know? What's The Catch?
Your loan time starts from the moment a title is borrowed.
Titles are automatically returned, there are no late fees, and best of all there is no waiting for items!
Hoopla Digital titles are available for all age groups and you can easily limit to just "Kids" items with a single click. **Please note that Hoopla Digital is currently available for Oceanside Library cardholders over 18 years of age.**
Simply put, there's no catch!

Hoopla Digital works with Roku devices (or Roku TVs), Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast, Android, and Amazon Alexa (smart speaker). There is a Hoopla Digital app available for iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire plus you can access Hoopla Digital on your computer at hoopladigital.com.
